Antibes occupe une place à nulle autre pareille dans notre
département. Celle d’une ville où se marient la splendeur du
littoral, l’âme méditerranéenne et la vitalité intemporelle
des traditions. Elle incarne cette Côte d’Azur authentique,
fière de ses racines mais résolument ouverte sur l’avenir via
la technopole d’excellence de Sophia.
Parmi ses plus beaux joyaux, les Voiles d’Antibes offrent,
depuis trois décennies maintenant, un spectacle d’excep-
tion où les plus grands voiliers classiques, véritables œuvres
d’art nautiques, viennent valser au gré du vent.
Du 27 au 31 mai, ce ballet de gréements et de couleurs re-
viendra illuminer la baie, dans une atmosphère chaleureuse
et festive. Cinq jours de régates et de rencontres pour célé-
brer ce patrimoine vivant, au croisement du sport et de la
convivialité.
Le Département accompagne de longue date cette mani-
festation emblématique, dont l’engagement écorespon-
sable s’inscrit pleinement dans la dynamique du Green Deal
que j’ai impulsé dès 2017 pour adapter notre territoire au
dérèglement climatique, à travers notamment un Plan Mé-
diterranée de préservation de notre patrimoine maritime.
Tout en rappelant l’importance fondamentale de la protec-
tion de nos rivages, cet événement contribue en outre à la
vitalité économique maralpine.
Les amoureux de la navigation le savent mieux que qui-
conque : la Méditerranée est un trésor fragile. C’est pour-
quoi ces 31e Voiles d’Antibes sont plus que jamais l’occasion
de célébrer un patrimoine unique, en étant collectivement
sensibilisés et investis dans la protection de Mare Nostrum,
notre héritage commun.
Je souhaite à tous, équipages et passionnés, une mémorable
édition 2026 !
Antibes holds a unique place in our region. It is a city where
the splendor of the coastline, the Mediterranean spirit, and the
timeless vitality of its traditions converge. It embodies the au-
thentic French Riviera, proud of its roots yet resolutely open to
the future through the Sophia Antipolis technology park.
Among its most prized treasures, the Voiles d’Antibes regatta
has been offering an exceptional spectacle for three decades
now, where the largest classic sailing yachts, veritable nautical
works of art, gracefully sail with the wind.
From May 27 to 31, this ballet of rigging and color will once
again illuminate the bay in a warm and festive atmosphere. Five
days of regattas and gatherings to celebrate this living heritage,
at the crossroads of sport and conviviality.
The Department has long supported this iconic event, whose
eco-responsible commitment is fully aligned with the Green
Deal initiative I launched in 2017 to adapt our region to climate
change, notably through a Mediterranean Plan for the preserva-
tion of our maritime heritage. While reiterating the fundamental
importance of protecting our coastlines, this event also contrib-
utes to the economic vitality of the Alpes-Maritimes region.
Sailing enthusiasts know better than anyone: the Mediterranean
is a fragile treasure. That is why these 31st Voiles d’Antibes are
more than ever an opportunity to celebrate a unique heritage,
by collectively raising awareness and investing in the protection
of Mare Nostrum, our shared heritage.
