RÉGATES D’ANTIBES THE ANTIBES YACHT CLUB
La Société des Régates d’Antibes est l’un des plus grands clubs de voile d’Europe. Sa vocation est de permettre la pratique sportive de la voile tout au long de la vie.
L’école de voile : Son École de Voile, d’une archi- tecture remarquable, située au cœur d’Antibes et respectant son environnement, accueille chaque année plusieurs milliers d’élèves évoluant sur des supports adaptés à leur âge.
La compétition : l’équipe « Elite » de la SRA rayonne dans le monde entier. Elle accompagne les jeunes talents depuis les régates régionales jusqu’aux podiums olympiques et internatio-
naux

soient compétiteurs ou organisa-
teurs ou même les deux parfois,
qu’ils partent défendre les cou-
leurs du Club en Méditerranée et
en Atlantique ou qu’ils accueillent
les concurrents de nos régates de prestige.
La voile habitable : Le Port Vauban, abri excep- tionnel et esthétique, accueille la flotte de la Socié- té des Régates d’Antibes, soit 240 bateaux régatant tout au long de l’année, aussi bien devant les rem- parts de la Ville que sur des plans d’eau lointains. La SRA participe à l’identité de la Ville d’Antibes Juan les Pins. Le club a pu ouvrir ses portes à la jauge IRC en faisant une toute nouvelle régate offshore « La coupe Napoléon » qui en 2023 fera sa 4ème édition avec des bateaux de plus en plus prestigieux.
L’Handivoile : depuis peu, le département Handi- voile ouvre l’accès aux joies de la mer aux personnes souffrant d’un handicap.
C’est avec le bateau TY Diabolo que le club assure cette mission.
La voile à Antibes depuis 120 ans
The Société des Régates d’Antibes is one of the largest sailing clubs in Europe. Its vocation is to allow the sporting practice of sailing throughout life.
The sailing school: Its Sailing School, with its re- markable architecture, located in the heart of Anti- bes and respecting its environment, welcomes several thousand students each year, evolving on boats adapt- ed to their age.
The competition: the “Elite” team of the SRA shines all over the world. It accompanies young talents from regional regattas to Olympic and international podi- ums.
The Club: The SRA draws its strength from its members, whether they are competitors or organizers or even both sometimes, whether they go to defend the colors of the Club in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic or whether they welcome the com- petitors of our regattas of prestige.
Habitable sailing: Port Vauban, an exceptional and aesthetic shelter, welcomes the fleet of the Société des Régates d’Antibes, i.e. 240 boats racing throughout the year, both in front of the city’s ramparts and on the plans of distant water. The SRA participates in the identity of the City of Antibes Juan les Pins. The club was able to open its doors to the IRC gauge by making a brand new offshore regatta «The Napoleon Cup» which in 2023 will make its 4th edition with increas- ingly prestigious boats.
Disabled sailing: the Disabled sailing department has recently opened up access to the joys of the sea to people with disabilities.
It is with the boat TY Diabolo that the club carries out this mission.
